Vibe Rise ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Nicholas Hurrell. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile app and website.

Information We Collect

• Account information: Email address when you sign up (via magic link authentication)
• Profile data: Name, archetype results, skills, and other information you choose to provide through app flows
• Usage data: Challenge completions, experience creation data, checklist progress, and content you generate
• Device information: Device type and operating system for app compatibility

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Vibe Rise app experience
• To personalise your content, recommendations, and AI-generated outputs
• To send push notifications (only with your permission)
• To track your progress across challenges, experiences, and business growth

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase: Database and authentication
• Vercel: Web hosting and analytics

AI-Powered Features and Data Sharing

Vibe Rise uses third-party AI services to deliver personalised insights, coaching, and visual content. On first launch, the app asks for your explicit permission before any data is sent to these services. You may decline, but the app cannot function without AI features.

How we collect this data: When you interact with AI-powered features (such as archetype discovery, coaching flows, diagnostics, and avatar generation), the app sends relevant data from that interaction to the applicable AI provider via secure API calls.

Anthropic (Claude)

• Data sent: Your quiz responses, text inputs, profile traits (archetype, skills, problems), and flow answers when you use coaching, diagnostics, or insight features
• Purpose: To generate personalised coaching insights, archetype analysis, and written content
• Retention: Anthropic does not store your data for model training. Data is processed in real time and not retained beyond the API request. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy

Google (Gemini)

• Data sent: Text prompts describing your archetype, appearance preferences, and visual style when you generate avatars or visual content
• Purpose: To generate personalised avatar images and visual artwork
• Retention: Google does not retain image generation inputs for model training via the paid API. See Google's Privacy Policy

OpenAI (GPT-4o)

• Data sent: Text prompts describing your archetype and visual style (used as a fallback when Google's service is unavailable)
• Purpose: To generate personalised avatar images
• Retention: OpenAI does not retain API inputs for model training when using the paid API. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy

Data protection: All three AI providers process data over encrypted connections (TLS), offer contractual data protection commitments, and do not use paid API inputs to train their models. We have confirmed that each provider offers data protection equivalent to or exceeding our own standards.

Your Rights

You can:

• Choose whether to allow AI data sharing when you first open the app
• Access your data at any time through the app
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us
• Opt out of push notifications through your device settings

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we remove all personal data within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

Vibe Rise is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
